St.Patrick's Day
We went to our first parade as a family in downtown Cedar Rapids. Since we weren't sure on where the parade actually started we parked and St. Luke's and walked toward the crowd. Turns out we were just chasing the tail end of the whole thing so we just planted it in the middle of the street and watched the last five minutes go by. As you can see by the

Bo Had To Make A Few Phone Calls One Afternoon...
When I haven't heard a peep from the little guy in over 3 minutes it is time to go looking. One afternoon I had left the phone book out after looking up a few numbers. Silly Mama! We are now missing a few pages from the business section. Harmless situations like these just make my heart smile. He even has my cell phone out for dialing. This is the day that Bo's tip toe crawl turned into a normal baby crawl. He is now making good distance.

Bo Discovers His Surroundings
I caught Bo watching the dryer finish a cycle one morning. Then, he caught me taking a picture of him so he came chasing after me in his walker which is the close up you see here. He is certainly becoming aware of the world around him. He investigates the sounds he hears in the background . The walker has made him so mobile through out the house that he is able to explore and learn on his own.

On his adventures in the walker, Bo will sometimes find himself in a dark room with nobody around. This triggers immediate panic and he will begin to cry. Mommy or Daddy will always come to his rescue and the roaming continues after the tears are wiped away.

Crystal's Herb Garden Update
I think that I've grown a piece of grass in my thyme pot. I pulled the suspected intruder as I was concerned it would steal the sunlight for what is supposed to be growing. It sure feels as if these herbs are taking their old sweet time growing. I anticipate these herbs to take at least a year to grow and mature enough to be plucked at will for my cooking. Patience is something I have acquired over the years with the help of my husband....and I will have to exercise this patience with my herbs.

Addison's Kisses Goodbye
We all met at the airport for the Dea Family departure. They were here for 1 month. We will be together again one year from now. Addison Marie will be speaking sentences instead of her partial word fragments and cute mispronunciations. Harrison will be walking and have a mouth full of teeth instead of his precious growl and gallons of drool. We will be sure to keep touch with the use of Skype and the blogs we update frequently. Kevin began growing a beard while in the states and left with a full beard. He says he plans to maintain after returning to the UK. Corrina will return home with updates to tell her girlfriends at tea time. She left the states still struggling to get Harrison to take a bottle. We wish her good luck with that. We love you all and thank you for such a wonderful holiday season. Keep the family healthy!

Mr. Potato Head Glasses
I had to make this a blog entry because it was so funny. Heath and I got our two nieces Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head Family for Christmas. They both opened the over sized potato head container and spilled out all the pieces. The first thing they both picked up were the glasses that go on Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. I happened to snap a picture of both of them so I thought I'd share our little nieces being so similar and so so cute! We love you girls!
